Toad is Oliver's Brakevan. They were both saved from scrap by Douglas and are very grateful to him. Toad has no time for the insults of Troublesome Trucks and works happily alongside Oliver on Duck's branch line. Toad is always coupled to Oliver so he is facing backwards. This is fine with since some Troublesome Trucks played a trick on him and he learned that traveling backwards can be very useful. Specially made for pre-school size hands, Toad also has smart magnets, which are at the front and back and connect either way.  Plus, Toad comes complete with a bonus collectible card in the shape of a railway ticket!
